Full job description
Key Performance Areas:
- The successful candidate will carry out daily/monthly stock counts and reconciliation.
- The job incumbent will assist with packing, receiving and transfers between cold storage and other departments.
- Will be responsible for stock rotation, cleaning, general housekeeping, enforcing safety regulations and working with other Stock Controllers to coordinate activities.
Knowledge and Skills:
- The successful candidate will be matriculated, possess a suitable accounting/store-keeping qualification or background.
- Must be computer literacy, Code 8 Driver’s license and Forklift license will be an added advantage.
- Have 2 years of previous stock control experience in a similar position.
- Accurate figure work is a must.
- The position will require overtime to be worked and aspects of the job will be performed in a refrigerated environment.
