Supervises the activities of artisans responsible for. fleet maintenance. Inspects plant or workshop area for scheduled maintenance or repairs as required to minimise loss of production. May be an Artisan in more than one trade e.g. welder, fitter, boilermaker, electrical/mechanical, automotive mechanic

Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage, supervise and motivate a team of workshop staff.
- Manage the fleet service and maintenance programme as per maintenance procedure.
- Manage the stores stock with storeman.
- Attend regular HSE meetings and toolbox talk discussions with workshop staff.
Ability to work adhere to predetermined Standards- Must be able to work under pressure, after hours and shifts.
