The appointee should:
- Have valid NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or Adult Senior Certificate)
- Have valid N3 Electrical certificate
- Have valid Electrical trade certificate
- Have Valid Foreman certificate
- Have at least 5 years’ experience as an Electrical Artisan in both surface and underground engineering
- Have SAP PM and MM experience
- Have Leading and Supervising ability
- Have Planning and Organising Ability
- Have relevant computer skills
- Be able to demonstrate detailed knowledge of applicable legislation (in particular the Companies Act)
- Have In depth knowledge of Company governance and corporate management
- Possess excellent report writing skills
- Be familiarity with the mining industry will be advantageous
- Have knowledge of governance framework formulation and maintenance at a corporate level
- Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct planned task observations and coaching
- Ensuring that all employees are competent and trained to do work safely
- Lead risk assessments and implement necessary recommendations
- Conduct incidents and accidents investigations
- Ensure elimination of all safety hazards
- Coordinate and conduct regular SHE meetings
