RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
- To diagnose problems and repair diesel engines and ancillary equipment.
- To apply troubleshooting methods, replace parts and run tests, to ensure the systems is working properly following repairs.
QUALIFICATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE:
The following trade tested qualifications will be considered:
- Mechanical Fitter / Diesel Fitter / Diesel Mechanic.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Must be qualified with a valid trade test certificate.
- Must have large diesel engine overhaul experience
- Ability and acumen to work independently.
- Strong mechanical background.
- A good knowledge and strong commitment to Health and Safety processes.
- Sound communication skills.
