The Fitter Cranes is responsible to perform fitting planned maintenance inspections, installation, repairs/replacement, fault finding, planned downtime maintenance and provide mechanical maintenance and breakdown support in the Engineering services workshop area to ensure maximum plant availability and efficiency. Standby support after hours for Engineering services workshop area.
Requirements
- Be qualified as a Fitter and have minimum N3 with Maths & Science
- Be pro-active, hard working and demonstrate high levels of flexibility
- Be able to work under pressure and give attention to detail
- Be able to work without direct supervision
- Be a strong team player, be bilingual and have excellent communication skills
- Have a good mechanical knowledge
- Be computer literate
- Have three to five years post apprentice work experience as Fitter
- Be physically fit and not afraid of confined spaces and heights
- Be willing to work overtime as requested
- Must be willing to do standby
