Description
- Collect data from rotating machinery from identified equipment over the whole plant with vibration data collector instrument and oil sampling equipment
- Analyze vibration and oil test data to determine condition and severity of anomalies in rotating equipment
- Perform precision alignment on rotating equipment (shaft-to-shaft ) with laser equipment to ensure reliable extended life of equipment and machine parts
- Perform oil testing on samples with oil analysis instrumentation to identify anomalies.
- Report all findings and recommendations to plants on Condition Monitoring Software package and use Maintenance Management System to report anomalies to plants.
- Comply with all legal requirements to ensure save working over whole plant.
Requirements
- Be in possession of minimum N6 or relevant mechanical qualification
- Be pro-active, hard working and demonstrate high levels of energy and flexibility
- Be able to work under pressure
- Be able to work without direct supervision
- Be a strong team player, be bilingual and have excellent communication skills
- Have 3 years experience in-plant maintenance
- Be willing to work overtime as requested
- Be able to work standby for Condition Monitoring department
- Electrical qualification/experience will be added advantage
