We are looking for a suitably qualified & experienced Maintenance & Projects Manager to join our Engineering team. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the maintenance function across all engineering disciplines in the factories. They will be responsible for the optimization of new and existing plant equipment to ensure machines perform at maximum possible efficiency. This individual will be part of the leadership team and will be responsible to make key and valuable contributions for the success of the organization.
Who You Are
- Must be a Qualified Artisan/ Technician (Mechanical/Electrical) in possession of a minimum N6, S4 or an equivalent Diploma.
- A minimum of 12 years experience (Artisan/Electrician) gained in a related industrial environment with exposure to boilers, compressors, air-conditioning plant and process equipment in hazardous areas
- An additional minimum 5 years experience in a similar position you applying for.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the OHS Act
- Must be able to display sound knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Knowledge of PLC’s, SCADA systems, electronic equipment, and process plant instrumentation.
- Qualification & experience in Project Management would be an added advantage.
- Strong leadership & coaching skills
- Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written.)
