The main responsibilities of this role are:
- Undertakes and leads engineering tasks and inventory projects of specialist nature by application of technical knowledge and leadership skills.
- Manages varied multi-disciplinary plant modifications / project work from concept to commissioning and close out.
- Ensures that all modifications / projects conform fully to Mill Change Management Procedures, Mill Standard Specifications, Mill Safety Standards and the OHS Act.
- Makes use of technical qualifications, experience and own and outside expertise to design instrumentation modifications for both process and maintenance improvement applications and advise on instrument equipment.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Recognised Trade Test Certificate in Electrical/Instruments or S4/T4 Diploma in Electronics.
- Grade 12 or N3 Engineering.
- 5 years Industrial process control experience.
- Knowledge of SAP PM & MS Office.
