Job Description:
-As a Graduate: Mechanical Engineering, you will register at the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE) as an Engineer in Training. You will complete your Annexure E training and exposure requirements under the supervision of Competent Engineers for you to prepare yourself to write and obtain your Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) for Mechanical Engineers.
Qualifications
-To qualify for the Anglo American Graduate Programme, you must:
- Have a BEng/BSc/BEngTech/ National Diploma Mechanical Engineering in Mechanical Engineering
- Registered or in the process of completing GCC would be advantageous.
- Have completed your degree within the last 2 years or are due to graduate by December 2022.
- Have no more than two years of relevant work experience.
- Be a team player with strong leadership potential.
- Demonstrate drive, ambition, and a passion for challenging work in our operations.
- Be available/willing to work in remote areas of South Africa as part of the Graduate Programme (relocation package provided depending on your role and your location).
