REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND TRAINING
- Minimum Grade 12 plus Technical / Electrical Trade Certificate (or in progress)
- Documented experience repairing and maintaining industrial machinery
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical / electrical equipment
- Experience with fabrication and welding (advantageous)
- Requires a strong attention to detail.
- Requires the ability to identify, plan, and solve problems with relation to maintenance / electrical demands in nursery
- Good understanding, comprehension and verbal and written communication skills.
- Requires regular, reliable attendance at the place of business. May be required after hours, and on weekends
- A valid driver’s license
- Ability & willingness to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
- Ability to interact effectively with management and team alike, which may include contractors / service providers to the company
- Ability to collaborate with other team members and maintain a positive attitude
- Must be able to exercise good judgment in recognizing scope of authority.
- Must demonstrate professional and ethical business practices, adherence to company values, and a commitment to personal and professional development
