Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs set ups and adjustments of the machines in accordance to the Operating Instructions
- Perform pre-start up inspections
- Carries out and records results of in process quality inspections
- Performs first line maintenance as per maintenance schedule
- Assists Engineering with breakdown repairs and shut down maintenance
- Minimises manufacturing waste by efficient work practices
- Adheres to standards in designated areas and keeps equipment and workplace in an acceptable condition
- Adherence to all SHE requirements
- Adheres to time and attendance standards
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum qualification of Grade 12 (Matric)/N3, preferably with technical subjects
- Experience in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage
