Job Description
- Operates the process computer-controlled equipment
- Oversees maintenance and outside contractor activities in respect to production requirement
- Participates in and embraces SMI’s Operations Excellence Programme
- Maintains routine contact with customer personnel regarding quantity and quality needs.
- Manages, tests and identifies incoming raw materials and lab materials for adherence to specification, either by actual testing or by review of the material’s Certificate of Analysis.
Qualifications & Experience
- Matric/Grade 12
- National Diploma in Chemical or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years previous work experience in an industrial environment
