ABOUT THE ROLE / PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Management of the maintenance process in area of responsibility to enable Mining Teams to reach production targets within the principles of QCDSM
FUNCTIONAL OUTPUTS
- Deliver products and service in accordance with Customer requirements
- Fault finding on pumps and water reticulation
- Maintain a healthy and safe work environment
- Maintenance of mining equipment
- Manage in-section critical spares
- Inspect equipment for deviations and create job cards
- Do planning for maintenance and manage maintenance feedback
- Good knowledge of safety management (SLAM, JSA, major hazards)
- Able to do on-the-job training and coaching
- Able to maintain high levels of good housekeeping and standards
- Liaise with Service Provider using the equipment
- Teamwork
- Able to work standby
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:
- Grade 12 with Maths & Science/N3 with Business English
- Trade Test Certificate – Electro Mechanic/Millwright
- Valid Driver’s license
- Flameproof Certificate
- Competent A Certificate (Wish)
Experience:
- 2-5 years’ experience as a qualified Electro Mechanic/Millwright
- Mining equipment experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
