POSITION SYNOPSIS:
- The purpose of the role is to support primary production by performing day shift duties to prepare drill blocks, road construction, ramp construction and installation of haul road signages.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Serious contenders will have a Grade 10 for internal candidates only and Grade 12 with Mathematics for external candidtes, with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in operating mobile equipment in a mining or plant environment;
- Critical Equipment licenses on CAT Loader 992/980, CAT Dozer D8/D10, and Grader is essential;
- Equipment licenses on Wheel dozer, Water bowser, TLB, Bob cat will be advantageous;
- Valid Code B Drivers License is essential.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Participate in investigations into workplace incidents;
- Report any unsafe behaviour, conditions and incidents to the responsible person;
- Conduct pre-use inspections, routine inspections and report defects;
- Conduct risk assessment before all tasks and identify risks and hazards;
- Operate mobile equipment based on operational requirements;
- Keep mobile equipment clean and in a good condition all the time;
- Operate various mobile equipment based on operational requirements.
