JOB REQUIREMENTS
Be able to work at heights, dirty and noisy areas
Actively participate in discussions that improve maintenance, quality and safety
Must be physically fit
Knowledge of emergency procedures
Must be in possession of a valid drivers license
Qualifications:
Grade 12/ N3 with Maths, Science and English
NQF level 4 Mechanical Fitter or equivalent qualification ex QCTO certificate
Red seal will be advantageous
Experience:
At least 2 year’s maintenance mechanical experience as a qualified Fitter
Reading and understanding work management process
Experience in variety of mechanical equipment, pumps, compressors, drives, mechanical seals, gearboxes, heat exchangers, cooling towers, vessels and piping
Experience in working with working with wax and hydrogen will be advantageous
Permit to Work recipient training completed will be advantageous.
Basic rigging and slinging license will be advantageous.
