MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: (Education & Experience)
- Grade 12 certificate or relevant NQF 4 qualification.
- Qualified Electrician with red seal Trade certificate
- Valid EB/Code 08 Drivers License.
- Certified competent as Electrician.
- 5 years continuous experience in Electrical maintenance and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Medium Voltage environment.
- Must be capable of Heavy lifting and operation of cumbersome MV Tools.
- Working on heights is a requirement.
- Possession of a MV MQF approved qualification/ Skills program would be advantageous
- Successfully obtain a Red Ticket (Medical Fitness certificate) on mine.

SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES:
- Sound knowledge in the construction, installation, maintenance, repairs and fault finding of the following MV (Medium Voltage) Equipment:
o MV Protection System.
o MV Electricity safety and switching practices.
o MV 22kv Transformers operation.
o MV 6.6kv Electric motors operation and control.
