Full Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will be responsible for:
- Day to day coordinating and administrating of the workshop;
- Providing farm, animal and plant maintenance assistance at Innovation Africa@UP
- Adherence to health and safety regulations when conducting tasks.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 10 with at least 6 months proven experience in:
- Maintenance of machines, farm implements and structures;
- Welding and brazing;
- Cutting grass and using machine to mow lawns;
- Welding certificate.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES
- Proficient knowledge and experience in welding;
- Proficient experience in operating implements and machinery;
- Proficient knowledge about blacksmith equipment such as grinders;
- Proficient knowledge about requirements on vehicles and tractors;
- Proficient technical competencies;
