The main purpose of this role is to ensure safe, reliable and available trains as per customer requirements, primarily through corrective and preventative maintenance and repairs.
These roles will be based at the Gautrain Maintenance Depot in Midrand, Johannesburg.
YOUR ROLE:
- Ensure compliance to safety, quality assurance and improvements
- Assist with corrective maintenance
- Perform preventative maintenance
- MAXIMO administration
- Correct use of materials, tools & equipment
- Effective teamwork and self-management
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Electrical Engineering National Diploma, Trade Test
- 0 – 2 years post qualification experience in rolling stock maintenance
- Good computer literacy
- Computer System Diagnostic skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good knowledge of hand tools
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
