Komatsu South Africa has an opportunity for a qualified Heavy Earthmoving Mechanic to join our team.
The successful candidate must have 3 years experience in the heavy earthmoving/mining equipment
industry and a Trade Certificate as Heavy Earthmoving Mechanic.
Requirements and Qualification:
• N3/ Grade 12
• Valid Driver’s license
• Trade Certificate as Heavy Earthmoving Mechanic
Internal applicants: completed Komatsu apprentice program.
External applicants: 3 years’ experience in the earthmoving/mining equipment industry.

1. SHEQ
2. Machine Inspections: Field and Workshop.
3. Troubleshooting and Diagnostics.
4. Machine Repairs: Field and Workshop.
5. Machine Services: Field and Workshop.
6. Machine and Component Disassembly and Assembly. (new and rebuild)
