Job Description
PURPOSE OF ROLE
Provide support to the various engineers through performing allocated design and tender preparation related tasks, as well as to assist with test and commissioning activities.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Electrical systems design assistance:
- Design and sizing of electrical cabling and motor control centers
- Development of test and commissioning procedures
- Detail compilation of electrical design documentation
- Development of relevant electrical drawings using Autocad
- Compilation of Bill of Quantities (BOQs)
- Assistance during the fabrication phase of all projects including performing required FAT testing
- Assisting with tender compilation
- Assisting with testing and commissioning of electrical systems
- Site supervision of on-site E&I installations team
- Ensuring compliance to company and project technical and QA requirements
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- National Diploma or BTech in Electrical Engineering.
