Description
To ensure all engineering materials and spares are timeously procured, arranged, and stored.
Responsibilities:
•Manage the purchasing of materials and spares and coordinate orders and approvals to meet deadlines
•Perform quality assurance on purchased items
•Process supplier payments according to SOP
Requirements
• Grade 12
• N2 Electrical or Mechanical qualification or equivalent would be advantageous
• Syspro knowledge is desired
• Experience with packaging or FMCG equipment with a basic understanding of how machine components operate
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Have sufficient technical vocabulary to describe engineering spares
• Intermediate computer literacy
• Exposure to administrative processes related to purchasing and stores
• Above average attention to detail, time management & problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• High stress tolerance.
