Main Purpose:
Performs quality control function during the processing of blood component products. Adheres to processing requirements of time constraints and quality according to procedures and blood transfusion standards
Minimum Requirements
- Matric Certificate (Maths & Science)
- Medical Technician qualification in Blood Transfusion/ currently undergoing training or Laboratory Assistant qualification in Blood Transfusion
- 2 Years experience
- Registration with HPCSA
- Computer literate
