Key Tasks & Accountabilities
- Perform new business quotations within agreed service level agreements
- Perform screening of new business quote requests according to set guidelines
- Achieve agreed new business conversion ratios
- Perform reinsurance calculations and referrals thereafter
- Achieve targeted underwriting profit by assistance and performance of underwriting skills by underwriting medium to high complexity risks
- Growth of business
- Contribute to proposition development
- Provide qualitative service levels to internal and external stake holders
- Teamwork
Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12
- Minimum of 3 years technical expertise in underwriting, preferable in commercial underwriting
- FAIS compliant, 60 credits
- Must have RE
- Languages, Afrikaans an added advantage (to give the team a balance)
