Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cleaning of screens, grit channels, anoxic, aeration, clarifier, chlorine contact channel & sump basins
- Testing and recording mlss, dsvi, ras, ss, ph, do, free & total chlorine, flow meter reading, screens, grit, & breakdowns.
- General maintenance at site (gardening, painting, routine service, oiling, greasing, inspections on tools, equipment & pumps, ext.)
- (Safe declaration, permit to work, Toolbox Talk, Shift handover, Mini risk assessment, Covid file, Scratch free days, PTO’s, Near misses, Incident communication,
- Sampling
- House keeping
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Grade 12 – Matric/or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
- Water treatment background / experience in the mining or related industry for at least 2 years will be advantageous
