Full Job Description
Maintain tooling and associated machinery to a high standard to ensure no unnecessary stoppages are incurred and a high quality finished product is manufactured.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Matric
- Relevant tool maker certification/ diploma
- At least 5 years’ relevant roll forming, progression tooling and press tool maintenance experience.
- At least 5 years’ experience in the use of lathes, milling machines, hydraulic press and surface grinders.
- Welding and fitting experience would be advantageous.
Additional Requirements
- Work on all machinery and tooling as required to meet production demand.
- Ensure speedily repair of all breakdowns.
- Follow the production shift allocated.
- Adhere to planned maintenance schedules.
- Assist with all settings of roll sets and associated tooling on all production lines.
- Do fault finding when necessary to ensure high quality of finished product is achieved.
