Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To safely maintain low and high level instrumentation used in industry. To safely carry out preventative maintenance and repairs to all instrumentation and to safely do fault finding on technical equipment and instrumentation.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Grade 12 / N3
- Relevant Trade test
- 4 years’ relevant experience in Instrumentation
- 2 years’ Supervisory experience
EXPERIENCE:
- Siemens, Schneider control system and mid-level control system knowledge
- Working knowledge of conveyor belt scales
- Working knowledge of Process Automation GAMMA Density Gauges
- Working knowledge of Endress & HUASER Process Instrument (flow, level)
- Working knowledge of variable speed drives
- Working knowledge of control valves
- Working knowledge of Siemens Simocodes
- Working knowledge of Plant cameras
- Working knowledge of Leaky Feeder systems
