Scope
The field service technician will be responsible for onsite services that include but is not limited to;
- Maintenance
- Repairs
- Application optimization
- On site fault findingPurposeProvide our customers with a customised service offering through onsite fault-finding, service, maintenance and repairs.Minimum Requirements
- Qualified Millwright with a minimum of ten years’ experience, of which 5 year must be in a customer facing field service environment.
- Good communication skills
- Field application pump experience.
- Be prepared to perform standby duties
- Must be in possession of a valid passport and be willing to travel when required.
- Must be in possession of at least a code 08 drivers’ licence
- Computer literate and proficient in the MS office suite of programs
- Must have had exposure to pump control systems
- Demonstrated ability to identify, locate and repair faults in electrical control equipment.
- Ability to service electric motors and submersible pumps.
- Precisely assess the equipment for repair according to workshop manuals, parts lists and best working and engineering practices
