Introduction:
Komatsu has an opportunity for a qualified Heavy Earthmoving Mechanic to join our team at Kolomela. The successful candidate must have 3 years experience in the heavy earthmoving/mining equipment industry and a Trade Certificate as Heavy Earthmoving Mechanic and be competent in reading and understanding hydraulic, pneumatics and electrical schematics.
QUALIFICATIONS:
N3/ Grade 12.
Trade Certificate as Heavy Earthmoving Mechanic.
REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Driver’s license.
EXPERIENCE
Internal appointment: completed Komatsu apprentice program.
External appointments: 3 years experience in the earthmoving/mining equipment industry.

- SHEQ.
- Machine Inspections: Field and Workshop.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics.
- Machine Repairs: Field and Workshop.
- Machine Services: Field and Workshop.
- Machine and Component Disassembly and Assembly (new and rebuild).
