MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 /STD 10 (NQF 4) is essential
- Recognised relevant Trade Qualification (Section 13/26D) OR proof of recognised completed apprenticeship contract (completed by means of effluxion of time): NTC 2 (relevant four subjects) is essential.
- Minimum of 3 years working experience as an Artisan is essential
- Must have a valid drivers licence
- Knowledge of winders modules is essential
- Shaft Winder modules is essential
- Conveyor knowledge is essential
COMPETENCIES:
- Day to day legal required activities on winders
- Good understanding of main safety device of a winder
- Winder brake systems and control thereof
- Winder code of practices and procedures
- Operation of DC drives
- Operation of AC drives
- Dynamic brake testing of winders
- Winder automation
