Purpose of the job:
To safely maintain and repair all levels of electrical equipment to the highest standard.

BUSINESS PROCESSES
- Adhere to the health and safety, environment, quality and housekeeping standards.
- Conduct regular plant maintenance inspections and report non-conformances and problems
- Plan and prepare resources for routine scheduled maintenance work orders
- Create notifications and generate work orders on the SAP system.
- Perform medium voltage switching up to and including 33kV switchgear, transformers and motors.
- Monitor the operational conditions of machinery and equipment
- Perform lockout procedure on machines and/or equipment to prepare for maintenance

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Grade 12 / N3 & and a relevant Trade Test
- 3 years’ relevant experience
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- MV Switching Regulations (ORHVS) and SAP Knowledge would be advantageous
- Code 08 drivers’ license
