Job Description
-As a Fitter, you will be changing tasks and machine settings to minimize the effect of unexpected problems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Attending, conducting safety meetings and participating in risk assessments
- Attending to breakdowns and emergencies
- Ensuring that material, spares and equipment are available as required
- Exercise judgement with regards to replacement of components
- Complying with environmental requirements
- Identify potential conflict situations and minimize the implications of possible conflict
This role is in the Engineering department at a C2 level reporting to the Foreman Fitter.
- Qualifications
-Grade 12 with Maths and Science or Technical Trade Specific N2 - Fitter or Millwright Trade Certificate
- Experience on drills (advantageous)
- Valid driver’s license – Code 08
- Basic Computer Skills
a part in maintaining, installing and commissioning machinery and equipment to the agreed standard at our Mogalakwena Complex.
