We are looking for an assistant Mechanical technician who will be responsible for the general maintenance and presentation of Grips Equipment.
Grips repairs, service & maintenance of:
- Responsible for maintaining of all gripping equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Familiarize himself with all the gripping equipment
- Good hand eye coordination and practical skills
- Analytical and quality control skills
- Assist with preparation and presentation of gripping equipment
- Perform the necessary health and safety protocols
- Be available to work overtime and assist after hours with electronic related problems.
experience, qualifications and skills
- Relevant qualification in mechanical engineer
- Ability to understand the workings of mechanical components
- Ability to dismantle and re-assemble components with care and precision, and to effect preventative maintenance when required to those components
- Ability to trouble-shoot and diagnose and conduct fault-finding
- Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics will be an added benefit
- A team player (work well with others and be able to follow instruction)
- Able to cope under pressure
- Hard worker
- Punctual and able to work after hours if required
- Able to read and understand circuit diagrams
- Work unsupervised
- Computer literate
