Job Description
This specific position that we are recruiting for sits in the SIQALO Foods business, a subsidiary of Remgro, and the sister company of RCL FOODS.
SIQALO Foods is currently seeking a Millwright to join our Foods Division. The role will be based in Boksburg and report to the Engineering Superintendent.
Minimum Requirements
Completed N3 and relevant Trade Test Mechanical/Electrical/Millwright
Minimum 6 years of experience is required
Experience with high-speed packaging machinery and processing plant will be an advantage.
Drivers license essential.
Flexible to work shifts.
To be willing to do the required stand-by duty.
To ensure that all call-outs are answered promptly and efficiently.
To be willing to perform work outside of normal working hours.
General assistance to facilities staff
Manage and maintain your own toolbox.
Maintain workshops and stores.
Cleaning of the premises after maintenance.
Assist with ad-hoc projects and work.
Maintain 5S housekeeping principles in the department at all times, including all equipment and surroundings. Ensure all unused items are removed from the operating area and stored correctly
