Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Set up and adjust filling & seaming machines and equipment to give proper closure
- Programme recipe changes on equipment according to procedures
- Conduct tear down tests and check using micrometer
- Specify, install and commission new equipment for projects according to agreed time lines
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate or National Certificate Vocational
- Red Seal Fitter & Turner
- At least 5-10 years of mechanical fault finding on manufacturing equipment and facilities
- At least 4 years of FMCG experience
- 2 years’ experience as a Seamer mechanic in a cannery would be advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving, time management, and pro-active thinking skills
- Detail & safety focus.
