Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years’ relevant industry experience in
Telecommunications high site environment.
- Computer literacy
- A valid driver’s licence
- Must be physically fit and able bodied to climb heights and to carry
heavy equipment and tools.
- Must be willing to work overtime and standby.
Key Performance Areas
- Perform inspection checks and general housekeeping of radio high
site facilities.
- Perform maintenance of repeater site masts and towers, power
supply systems and generators by carrying out generator refuelling
tasks.
- Assist technicians with TETRA and analogue radio infrastructure field
work.
- Receive applications and ensure that all applications comply with
applicable law, approved tariff structure and business rules in terms
of the City of Cape Town objectives.
