Plan maintenance work in order to achieve maximum plant reliability, availability and efficiencies at optimal quality and cost in support of Depot Operations

What you’ve done
What you’ll have done before:
Baseline:
- NQF Level 5 (Higher Certificate in Mechanical Engineering/ Artisan
- 3 years’ experience in Depot or Maintenance experience
Advantageous:
- National Diploma Mechanical Engineering
- Petroleum experience.

What you’ll be doing
- Review and keep maintenance plan up to date close all due work orders as required
- Review and keep worklist up to date
- Review and approve all contractor method statement
- Execute equipment inspections and make recommended repairs
- Maintain valid safe work practices list and ensure all breakdowns are properly scoped for contactors
- Ensure that all work conforms to requisite standards, manuals, and codes
- Review and validate all work and task lists and turnaround work scopes
- Coordinate induction and training to be conducted to align to Engen Standards
- Ensure adherence to PTW conditions
- Ensure effective management of contractors on site and that all contractors adhere to remedial action plans
