Job Advert Summary
Reporting to the Electrical Foreman the successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance troubleshooting and repair of Plant Equipment.
Minimum Requirements
- N3 certificate or equivalent coupled with a recognized trade test as an ELECTRICIAN
- 5 years’ post-apprentice experience in an electrical maintenance environment
- A valid Code B driver’s license and the ability to pass Rand Waters K53 test
- Wireman’s licence will be an added advantage
- Basic computer literacy
Primary Duties
- To carry out preventative maintenance and fault finding on HT and LT control systems of electrical pumps and associated equipment.
- Carry out high and low voltage electrical work on the plant and equipment
- Work on AC/DC drives and schematic drawings
- Perform fault finding, repairs, installation and commissioning of new equipment.
