Requirements
- Trade Tested Artisan as a Mechanical Fitter
- Up to three (3) years’ post-apprenticeship experience as per KPAs
- Valid driver’s licence, PrDP will be advantageous
- The incumbent should be physical fit and able-bodied
- Required to work in all weather conditions, outside normal
working hours during emergencies and planned overtime.
Key Performance Areas
- Interpret and coordinate specific pre-work / site requirements
with regard to installation, repairs and appropriate maintenance
techniques
- Perform activities / sequences associated with fault-finding
and repairs to sewage and pumping mechanical equipment at the
plants within Water and Sanitation
