Description
- Safely execute critical daily maintenance tasks
- Execute shutdown activities as per plan, according to scheduled time
- Ensure continuous improvement of asset care management
- To give direction to Assistant and contractors under their area of responsibility
- Support asset care and optimisation for ensuring customer needs are met
- Assist smelter foreman to ensure health and safety of employees it is taken care of through safely maintaining equipment
- Maintain good housekeeping standards
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 and Millwright Trade Certificate
- Relevant Fitting and Machining/Turning, Electrical Technical Qualifications: Red sealed
Engineering Trade certificate Technical Qualifications: Red sealed Engineering Trade certificate or
SAQA Verified Trade Certificate) - Studying towards N6 National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering would be advantageous
Job specific experience:
- Minimum 5 years Post Graduate relevant Projects or Operations experience
- Computer literate (Word, excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Valid Driver’s license
Inherent requirements
Must be medically fit.
