Job Description
RCL FOODS is seeking a Refrigeration Technician to join our Foods Division. The role will be based in Randfontein and report to the Senior Fitter. RCL FOODS is looking for an experienced Refrigeration Technician to perform skilled maintenance, installation, repair, and inspection work on complex refrigeration equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Planning of work according to the maintenance plan and schedule and per breakdown.
Maintenance and repair of all site-related equipment in accordance with the maintenance plan and schedule.
Render assistance to handymen on faults that cannot be solved on their level of required competence.
Daily inspection
Minimum Requirements
Matric supplemented by an approved apprenticeship programme in industrial refrigeration
Authorized refrigeration practitioner Cat B Ammonia
Qualified Artisan Technician in Ammonia and Gas/Refrigeration license or Millwright
B8 & B6 Gas license
7 years of Ammonia inspection and maintenance experience
Valid Code EB Driver’s license
