Job Description
RCL FOODS is searching for an experienced Artisan: Turbine Fitter to join our Sugar Division based in Pongola, KwaZulu Natal. The purpose of the role is to perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure that they run smoothly. The position requires an individual with extensive knowledge, experience, and insightfulness of turbines to deliver planned and unplanned maintenance services to the business. The successful incumbent must have completed their trade test through a formal institutionalized training programme.
Minimum Requirements
Trade test Certificate (Mechanical Fitting or Fitting and Turning) and proof of the successful completion of a formal Institutionalised Training Programme is essential.
Minimum of six (6) years of working experience as a trade-tested Artisan Fitter/Fitter & Turner, of which at least three (3) years must be on turbines.
Experience in maintaining and fault-finding hydraulic systems is crucial.
Working knowledge of planned maintenance systems.
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
Be prepared to work planned and unplanned overtime.
SAP system knowledge would be an added advantage.
Be prepared to do stand-by duty.
