Diesel Mechanicto perform maintenance effectively to maximise the availability of equipment at the lowest cost.
Job Description:
To perform maintenance effectively to maximize the availability of equipment to sections at the lowest cost by:
- Ensuring maintenance on the wheel dozer and graders (Komatsu, Caterpillars)
- Ensuring the changing and replacing of the filter including topping up the Lubes
- Being responsible to attending to the breakdowns of the equipment
- Being able to interpret hydraulic schematics
- Ensuring that the work environment is equipped with the necessary spare parts and defective components are identified, in order to find and implement permanent solutions.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 or N3 Technical Matric
- N2 Certificate
- Qualified /Trade Certificate as Artisan
- Valid South African Driver’s license
- Medical fitness certificate
