Job Description
-As a Millwright, you will provide engineering support within the team where you will:
- Adhere to all health and safety practices requirements and promote good housekeeping to ensure compliance and an environment where team members can deliver their outputs within a controlled risk environment
- Maintain and test all equipment / machinery to ensure functionality, safety and availability to complete work within the specified timeframe and budgetary limits
- Ensure that the work environment is equipped with the necessary spare parts and defective components are identified to find and implement permanent solutions and work is executed as per Operating Model standards & procedures.
Qualifications
-You will need the following:
- Grade 12 or N3 Technical Matric
- N2
- Qualified as an Artisan/Trade Certificate (Millwright)
- Valid driver’s license
- Medical Fitness
You will need strong experience in the following:
- Solid 3 Years’ experience working in an open pit mine.
- Experience in a HME environment
- Demonstratable experience gained as a Millwright (Artisan)
