PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To supervise the safe and cost-effective execution of all maintenance and/ or modifications of plant, equipment & facilities and shutdown work ensuring high quality workmanship of artisans and contractors.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT, RISK, QUALITY AND COMMUNITY
- Identify and assess level of continuous risk exposures in area of responsibility by considering exposures to business, financial, legal issues, people, equipment, material, environment, processes, etc.
- Consider the level of risk, apply mitigation and implement control measures for residual risk (set objectives, minimum requirements, etc.)
- Ensure SHEQ compliance within the Team through effective use of the Toolbox
- Utilise the Information Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status
- 5S Management
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- External: N6 Certificate light current or similar
- Internal: N5 Certificate studying towards N6/T4/S4 light current or similar
- 4 years’ relevant experience, preferably 1 years’ supervisory experience
- Computer Literacy (MS Office)
- Siemens PCS7 (PLC/ WINCC/ NetPro)
- AS/ OS networking
- Profi-Bus networking
- Drivers’ License (Minimum B/ Code 8)
ADVANTAGEOUS
- National Diploma S4 or B-Tech Electrical Engineering Light Current
- Relevant Trade Certificate
- Supervisory Development Training Certificate
- SAP/ MES Knowledge
