· Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
· Quality control of repairs
· Attend to breakdowns electrical and mechanical fault finding
· Monitor and instruct outside service providers performing repairs
· Carrying out routine inspections
· Do planned and unplanned maintenance
· Detect Mechanical and Electrical Faults
· Perform checks on a regular basis and detects possible faults
· Improvises necessary solutions as and when needed
· Grade 12 Certificate
· Qualified with trade papers (section 13 or 26D)
· Code 8 Drivers License
· Minimum 5 years Diesel Mechanic experience
· Experience working on Trackless Mobile Machinery
· Welding experience
· Own Transport as position requires standby
· Valid certificate of physical fitness
· Ability to read and write in English
