WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Planned and Predicative Maintenance
Maintenance of medium and low voltage electrical reticulation systems;
Schedule workload to meet priorities and targets;
Ensure adherence to scheduled and unscheduled maintenance cycles and completion of job cards in time and meet KPI target
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Matric (Grade 12)
Has passed at least N3 Electrical National Certificate.
Has served an apprenticeship and has passed an Electrical Trade Test.
At least 3 years’ experience
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:
At least five years’ experience in an electrical environment.
• Electrical engineering (Light and Medium Current – HT will be advantageous) N4 Electrical National Certificate.
• Computer literate – Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Wireman’s Licence;
• Thorough knowledge of Allen Bradley, A.B.B., S.E.W and Siemens hardware.
• Detailed understanding of PLC systems and programmes
