Job Specific Experience

• 3 years post Trade experience in Fitting and Turning
• Experience within the Pulp & Paper industry and specifically with pulp processing equipment will be beneficial

Qualifications & Expertise

• Minimum Matric
• Full N3 (4 subjects passed)
• Trade Tested Fitter & Turner

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills within a team environment
• Must be able to work efficiently in a high pressure environment

Functional Outputs

• Maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Removal and installation of pumps, gearboxes and other plant equipment
• Responsible for maintenance of plant specific equipment
• Overhauling of equipment to OEM specification
• Manage SAP work order system management
• Adhere to safety, health and environmental issues
• Daily routine walkabouts – flagging equipment risks to Supervisor

General

• Computer literacy including SAP is essential
• SAP location of spares, confirming work orders
• Required to do standby duties
• Valid drivers license and own car essential
