Required outputs: Functional
- Execute scheduled and routine maintenance on MMU’s, machinery and equipment.
- Perform engineering inspections identify problem areas and implement pro-active maintenance and plant improvement corrective action.
- Optimise MMU reliability by continually improving the preventative maintenance system through the identification of opportunities for improvement.
- Provide appropriate and adequate feedback and input to the Engineering Team Manager with respect to plant condition, spares and scheduling requirements, and repairs carried out.
- Perform safety and health inspections and implement corrective action.
- Assist in the training and development of the Learner Technician Operators.
- Be actively involved in World class initiatives
Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Millwright (Must be trade tested)
- Minimum of 5 years Millwright experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Must have machine shop experience.
- Must have experience working on Hydraulics.
- Must have experience working with hand tools such as jigsaws, drilling machines, bench grinders and machinery.
- Must have experience working on pneumatics.
- Hands-on technical, experience is essential
- A good understanding and knowledge of safety standards, quality management and production processes.
