PURPOSE:
• To supply technical support to engineering discipline in projects.
• Ensures optimum plant and equipment availability in accordance with short and long-term project plans and priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BEng Mechanical Engineering (Essential/Minimum or)
• B Tech Engineering (Relevant) (Essential/Minimum)
• Diploma Project Management (Recommended/Desirable)
• Certificate First Line Management (Recommended/Desirable)
EXPERIENCE:
5 years Experience in Mechanical Engineering of which at least 2 years Project management experience (Essential/Minimum) Operational
REQUIREMENTS:

• Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted at Exxaro)
• Engineering Council of SA (Candidate) (Recommended/Desirable)
Business Performance and Operations
• Provide expert technical support to project teams
• Support Line with regards to discipline related technical issues
• Support Principal Engineer in execution of engineering contracts in multi-disciplinary projects
• Contribute in individual skill area including active involvement in peer review process
• Support senior engineer to create project work execution plans for discipline
• Deliver quality work with technical integrity through participation in contract review meetings, operations meetings and contract review stage of projects
