Job Description
- Perform Schedule/Preventative maintenance tasks to minimize plant down-time.
- Do improvements, new installations and modifications to plant & equipment.
- Respond to machinery breakdowns
- Ensure safe operation of plant & equipment.
- Perform general housekeeping tasks.
- Must be prepared to work overtime and standby as and when required
- Must be able to work at heights or in confined spaces
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings.
- Proven planning & fault-finding ability.
- Must be able to support mechanicians.
- Proven programming ability
- Must be able to obtain a certificate of fitness
Qualifications & Experience
- N5 Instrumentation qualification with trade test
- Trade test certificate (red seal)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar maintenance role
- Must be proficient with DeltaV
- Good knowledge of bus systems, profi bus, ASI bus and Fieldbus foundation bus.
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings.
- Burner experience will be advantageous.
- ABB freelance experience
